Aurélien Darbellay is now and a grandi à Liddes en Valais (Suisse). It’s from the music society “the Union Instrumentale de Liddes” to discover the music. After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and musicology at the University of Fribourg, he decided to study music. In 2021, he won the second prize in the organized competition for the contemporary ensemble « Diachrony » with the piece « O.L.D. ». This year, the decoration with “Dark is the Horizon” won the Swiss Prize for the Composition Competition of the Italian Fiat Fiat (OFSI). In September 2022, Aurélien debuted a second Master in contemporary composition at the Berne University of the Arts. He got his Master diploma in September 2024.
